AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

LENNY was the recipient of the City of Ottawa Cultural Funding grant (2020). The script was a semi-finalist in Screencraft's Film Fund competition and the completed film was a Finalist for Best Canadian Short Film at the Canadian Screen Award qualfying Oakville International Film Festival. The film was also a semi-finalist in the Oscar-qualifying Flickers Rhode Island Film Festival out of a record of over 6,500 submissions

ALPHABET CITY was a semi-finalist in the prestigious Austin Film Festival screenwriting competition for feature film scripts, as well as a quarter-finalist in the Page International Screenwriting Competition, top 10% in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, and is currently a Finalist in the Unique Screenplays competition. It is ranked in the Top 1% of over 133,000 projects on Coverfly and finished in the Top 20 drama feature scripts of the month.

REVOLUTIONARY MEDICINE (Previously known as POLLY and GUERILLA MEDICINE) was awarded Best LGBTQ+ Feature Script at the Marina Del Rey Film festival. It also finished in the top 7% of scripts in the Nicholl Fellowship, run by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and was a second rounder in the Austin Film Festival for drama feature scripts.

FROM SARAJEVO received awards for Best Director and Best Ensemble Acting at the Digi60 Film Festival, making me the first female ever to win the Best Director award. The film has also been named Official Selection in several film festivals around the world, including the South Film and Arts Academy Festival, where it won Best War Short Film

LIVE THROUGH THE NIGHT finished in the Top 100 of the Launch Pad TV Pilot competition and was a TV Pilot Script Finalist in the Southern California Script Competition. It is in the top 2% overall on Coverfly out of over 131,000 projects and is currently on the Red List for the Top 20 Thriller TV pilots. (2022)

NOSEBLEED is currently a Quarterfinalist in the Killer Shorts Script Competition and had its premiere screening at the East Bay Comedy Festival in Oakland
